  • We are glad you asked! We have decided to call the attire for the evening "Hill Country Cocktail".

  • The event is being held at the Cailloux Campus Activity Center (CCAC) Ballroom of Schreiner University. When you arrive on campus follow the signs to the designated parking area. The ballroom is on the second floor of the CCAC building.

  • Yes! We have included a donation form above for you to fill out if you wish to donate but are unable to attend. You can also send cash or check in the self-addressed envelope included with your invitation.

  • Due to the exclusive nature of the event, it is essential to RSVP to secure your place at the "Symphony of Second Chances: Private Dinner & Concert." Reservations will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Your prompt response ensures we can accommodate you and provide the best possible experience. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

  • We became a nonprofit in April of 2023 and opened our first discipleship home in January of 2024.

Meet the Performers

Alex Martinez

Alexandra Martinez is a classically trained vocalist and performer with over a decade of experience in the performing arts. She has toured nationally as a soloist and has performed at renowned venues such as Carnegie Hall, The Kennedy Center, The MGM Grand, Disneyland, Universal Studios, The United Nations, and the Pentagon. Alex studied at the Summer Theater Institute at Juilliard before surrendering her life to Christ, which led her to Nyack College to study vocal performance. Now based in the Texas Hill Country, she leads worship, teaches, and serves as the Youth Creative Arts Director at Cross Kingdom Church. She is the founder of Spotlight Studios and is passionate about raising up the next generation of artists to use their gifts for the glory of God. Alex and her husband Eric have been married for 15 years and are the proud parents of four sons.

Elizabeth Rose

Elizabeth’s angelic voice shines brightest when singing melodies that are uplifting and inspiring and bringing glory to her Savior, Jesus Christ. Audiences around the world have enjoyed her operatic performances in Suar Angelica and The Magic Flute in Rome, Italy; a joyful rendition of The Lord’s Prayer at the Cunita Astrodome in Manila, Philippines and as part of a tour on the Sea of Galilee in Israel; and Amazing Grace in the amphitheater in Ephesus, Turkey where the Apostle Paul preached. Elizabeth has traveled to 18 countries and had the opportunity to sing, play piano and lead worship in many locations. Most recently Elizabeth played the lead role of Queen Esther in the musical For Such A Time As This at the Cailloux Theater in Kerrville, TX with her co-star, Anthony Teague cast as the King.

Anthoney Teague is a songwriter, vocalist and producer based in the Texas Hill Country.  From performing in a country music opry house to touring Eastern Europe and performing for the Prime Minister of Ukraine in 2007, Anthoney’s vocal career has been robust and includes a wide array of genres. He recently released his first EP titled “Not Your Average Sunday” with background vocals by Elizabeth Rose.  The music video for “Not Your Average Sunday” will be released later this month.  Anthoney Teague also has a rich history in musical theater and starred alongside Elizabeth Rose in the world premier musical “For Such A Time As This” in 2022.  He would like to dedicate this performance to his brothers Tim and Jeff to say “Thank You!” for their love and prayers over the years.

Wayne Johnson has been enchanting audiences with his piano prowess since he first touched the keys. With over 40 years of experience leading worship, Wayne currently graces Cross Kingdom as the interim Worship Pastor. His extraordinary versatility allows him to masterfully perform any musical style with ease. Having played accompaniment for the renowned Anthoney Teague, Wayne is now gearing up to produce a prophetic worship piano album alongside Anthoney. As co-founders of Prodigal Road Ministries, Wayne and his wife Susan have been instrumental in their community. Prepare to be captivated as Wayne’s fingers dance effortlessly across the piano, delivering a performance that is nothing short of a musical blessing. His rare talent is sure to leave you spellbound and inspired.

Mark Nugent is a dedicated cellist and educator based in Kerrville, Texas. With over 35 years of experience, he performs with the Symphony of the Hills and the Hill Country Symphony Orchestra. Mark is also the founder of the Mark Nugent Cello Studio, where he offers personalized instruction to students of all ages. His passion for music led him to earn a Bachelor of Arts in Music Performance and pursue an MBA in Music Business through Southern New Hampshire University and Berklee College of Music. Mark's commitment to nurturing musical talent and his active involvement in the local music community make him a valued contributor to the Symphony of Second Chances.
